DAY 1

EXPLORE ENCHANTING MANDALAY

 

Today, travel around this cultural capital of Myanmar and enjoy yourself. Visit Mahamuni Buddha Temple, Shwe In Bin Kyaung monastery and the Mandalay Palace area. You will be able to visit Shwenandaw Monastery, Atumashi Kyaung Monastery as well as explore the palace. After this, head to Mandalay Hill and visit Kuthodow Pagoda and Sandamuni Paya on the way. Watch the mesemerising sunset from Mandalay Hill.

DAY 2

VISIT AMRAPURA

 

Today in the morning, head to Amarapura to visit the attractions in and around the city. You can visit the Bagaya Monastery, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, Su Taung Pyae Monastery and Pahtodawgyi. The highlight of the day will be a walk on the longest wooden bridge in the world – the U-bein bridge. Head to the U-bein bridge in the evening for an exclusive view of the beautiful sunset. Head back to Mandalay in the evening.

DAY 3

A DAY TRIP TO MINGUN

 

Today, take a ferry or taxi to Mingun and visit Mingun Pahtodawgyi. The ferry leaves at 9.00 AM. Mingun Pahtodawgyi is an unfinished stupa constructed in 1790 and would have been the largest stupa in the world once finished. After visiting the stupa, you can visit the Mingun Bell, the second largest bell in the world. You can also visit the Hsinbyume Pagoda, a picturesque and one of its pagoda located here.
